John Moray – Chairman
John Stuart is the 21st Earl of Moray, his descendants have occupied the Castle Stuart Estate, on which Tornagrain is built, since the 16th Century. It is John’s vision that has driven this project. The Moray family have had previous townplanning experience with the Moray Estate in the New Town of Edinburgh.
Andrew Howard – Managing Director
Andrew has, with John, lead the Tornagrain project since its inception in 2002. Andrew oversees the project with particular emphasis on planning, infrastructure, legal and technical agreeements.
Nicole Petrie – Tornagrain Development Manager
Nicole has been involved in the Tornagrain project since 2007 and is responsible for the day to day management of the project specifically design control, liaison with developers, the services management company and commercial occupiers. Nicole is the principal contact for residents and site visitors.
Ben Pentreath – Ben Pentreath Limited
Ben is the principal masterplanner and designer on site. Before attending the Prince of Wales Institute of Architecture, Ben’s background was in Art History. He was first involved in the Tornagrain project at the 2006 Charrette. Ben is amongst many other projects a key designer at Poundbury, Dorchester.
Rob Illingworth – Ben Pentreath Limited
Rob is a qualified Architect, member of the RIBA and a Director of Ben Pentreath. He has wide range of experience of master planning projects over the last 10 years and has been involved with Tornagrain since 2012 working alongside Ben on the masterplanning and architectural design.
